Project Details:

If you ever wondered how lobbyists got their name, it was from the Willard Hotel. It was the closest hotel to the White House. Incoming Presidents would often lodge there prior to taking office. Many people looking for work in a new administration would wait in the lobby of the hotel to catch the President Elect as he went through the building, trying to get time to discuss their prospects. The hotel was abandoned in the early 1900's. The building was restored to its original luster and is now a 5-star hotel with an easy walk to the White House. The Lobby was redone in its Historic Plaster. It is one of the nicest plaster jobs our company has been associated with. We also installed Metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustic ceilings in this Icon of Washington DC.
