COMPANY HISTORY

For over forty years, C. J. Coakley Co., Inc. has been a leader in the
interior construction industry. Started in 1962 by the Coakleys, the
company became incorporated in Virginia in 1966. Initially involved with
lathing, plastering and sprayed fireproofing, C. J. Coakley Co., Inc.
expanded into the drywall field when it landed its largest job to date, the
DuPont Brandywine Building in Wilmington, DE in 1969. In 1976, with the
undertaking of the Mazza Gallerie, the company added the installation of
acoustical ceilings to its comprehensive trade knowledge. Today, C. J. Coakley Co., Inc. is a complete interior contractor with a wide range of experience while constantly exhibiting a high degree of quality craftsmanship.
