Government/Military
From the hangar for Air Force One to the Defense Intelligence Agency headquarters,
we have been the interior contractor for a wide assortment of military projects.
Our military work includes over 700 rooms for enlisted and officer personnel
at Quantico and Ft. Belvoir.
Our work can be seen at Ft. McNair, Ft. Meyer, Andrews
Air Force Base and in 1995 the company traveled to Patuxent River Naval Station.
Some of our most notable federal and state government projects include facilities like Fairfax County Courthouse, U.S. Geological Survey, Lister Hill
Biomedical Head-quarters, Everett Dirksen Senate Office Building, IRS
Headquarters, Ronald Regan Building, the 2.4 million square feet office
building for the U. S. Patent and Trademark, and the new Environmental
Protection Agency Headquarters at Potomac Yard. Our governmental
renovation work includes ICC Headquarters, the Department of Main Justice,
Federal Reserve Building, Old State Department, and the National Archives, which reopened in 2004.
Prior to September 11, 2001 C. J. Coakley Co., Inc. completed Wedge 1 at the
Pentagon. Working closely with the selected contractor, the company worked on
the Phoenix project (the symbolic name given for the restoration work created
as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack) and was completed
before September 11, 2002.
By the end of
2006, we will have completed three buildings at the new FDA complex in White
Oak, Maryland.
